Shalom and greetings from Lusaka, Zambia.

MISSIONS.

We had a group of 10 wonderful believers visiting the Zambia Messianic fellowship from the United States. They were in the country for two weeks. Thank you for all who prayed for this visit and mission.

OUTREACH.

July saw us undertake a number of outreaches in remote rural areas which included Chiawa in the Lower Zambezi river basin. Hundreds of people attended our outreach services and many gave their lives to the Lord. Congregations in the areas of outreach recorded substantial growth.

23 souls were immersed and professed faith in the Lord. Over 80 widows in the sleepy town of Kafue received food, clothing, bibles and love from the Zambia messianic Fellowship. Womens Conference

We also held a leadership seminar with over 100 leaders and potential leaders. Our leaders come from all parts of the country to attend the seminar. The women also held a ladies seminar and many attended. The youths also had a youth conference and about 200 youths attended many come from our partner congregations.

PRAISE REPORTS.

We have got a Mini Van (mini bus) for the orphanage and we are very thankful to God and to those who made this possible. This will help us greatly in our quest to make the Jerome Fleischer Orphanage financially self sustaining.

ORPHANAGE

The orphans had a rare treat from the visiting American team. They were taken to the local zoo!! All of them had never been to a zoo. Besides seeing different animals at the zoo, there was great fun too as orphans competed in various games and enjoyed snacks.

PERSECUTIONS.

We have been experiencing some opposition from some quarters who want to frustrate the work here. Kindly pray for a defensive wall around Alex & Fay and all the congregations. The enemy only comes to steal and destroy.

SICKNESS & DEATH.

Be praying for the Leader of the Chainda congregation Job Mutinta who suffered a stroke and is hospitalized. The orphanage also lost to death one of our orphans Mwenya Mwape who died a few days ago.

NEEDS

Radio outreach. Our radio outreach goes to about 2.5 million people. Our last paid broadcast was July 25. Consider a gift to help Zambia Messianic Fellowship take the gospel to the unreached. A single program costs $91.
House of prayer- we have decided to build a building for prayer at the land housing the orphanage. There are no churches or houses of prayer in this growing neighborhood. A building would cost $75,000.
