Shalom and Greetings from Lusaka. Zambia.
..when the wicked are in power the people groan. Proverbs 29:2
A few weeks ago we at the Zambia Messianic Fellowship were able to host a preacher from Zimbabwe and sent him back home to Zimbabwe with Bibles and clothes. I would like to ask you all to be praying for Zimbabwe. The elections that were supposed to take place are now useless as the main opposition leader who had beaten the incubant has pulled out due to violence and intimidation and brutality by Mugabe the president. Over 70 people have been killed and 300 hospitalized and over 250,000 displaced.
Zimbabwe is a terrible tragedy. Inflation in Zimbabwe stands at about 2 million percent (2,000,000 %). Food and fuel shortages are rife, agriculture is almost non existant in this once powerful agriculture country. Manufacturing is operating at a mere 25%. The highest paid civil servant earns an equivalent of $15 USD (or 30 billion Zim dollars) a month enough to buy only 52 eggs that cost $2 Billion Zimbabwean. A bible costs about 20 Billion Zim dollars.

Pastor William in the Center
Most people including believers have been reduced to utter poverty. The government is subjecting the masses to more punishment by withholding food donations from abroad (over 4 Million Zimbabweans depend on food aid). William is a pastor with over 40 pastors under him. Please pray for the believers of Zimbabwe that G-d will protect them and use them. Pray for a change of government that men of integrity and G-d fearing will take over.

The Shalom Zambia Radio Program is now live on national radio
Pray for the situation in South Africa also where foriegners espeacially those from poor neigbouring African countries are being killed in cold blood. They are being accused of taking up jobs meant for South Africans and over 50 have died so far most by being set ablaze. There is a spirit of violence and murder in South Africa. in one year over 25,000 people have been murdered and every hour or less a woman is raped. Pray for the believers in South Africa, for their protection and that they will shine the word and be a catylest to bring sanity.

We had a great youth retreat. thanks for the prayers for our young people. For three days they were able to pray, worship, learn, ask questions and enjoy themselves.
