Shalom Newsletter
A Newsletter of The Zambia Messianic Fellowship.
November 2009 Issue.

Shalom from Zambia.
To all our American friends we pray that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Again thank you for taking the time to read and pray for this ministry.
CONGREGATION.
I was able to visit four congregations in the month of November. Beth Shalom in Ndola (Copperbelt province) and the Chainda, Chinkuli and Chibula congregations all just outside Lusaka. The Chinkuli congregation is meeting without a roof and it is now the rain season.

I remember worshiping in one of these congregations during the rain season and they had no roof. Children, babies and adults were all getting soaked wet and the service continued as if there was no rain at all. Please do pray on how you can put a roof over these congregations.
Our leadership training is going on well and we have 10 leaders in training. There is room for more.
PRAISE REPORTS.
Fay conducted two successful women's retreats with women in different leadership positions coming in from different parts of Zambia. We do not want to over look the influence that women have in the African society and community. Though still largely relegated to child bearing they still continue to be the ones molding and teaching the young in the community.
ORPHANAGE
Construction has continued at the Jerome Fleischer orphanage school and we are very excited ,we have just began roofing the orphanage. We have 132 orphans at the school of which 64 are boys and 68 are girls. There are three full time teachers and one cock/cleaner. The ages for the orphans are 2 years to 13 years of age. Thank you for being a blessing to these children.

Roofing of the Jerome Fleischer Orphanage has began.
SICKNESS
Job Mutinta our Chainda congregational leader is doing well after surgery.
