Shalom Newsletter.

Zambia Messianic Fellowship Newsletter.

November 2011

A word from Alex.

Greetings from Zambia.

Character isn't instantly created. It is curved out. To God our lives are like a series of fields that need working. At each stop He encourages us to get busy tilling ground hardened by sin, pulling weeds grown in neglect and planting seeds of biblical truth. whatever we do in obedience to God enables God to recreate within us the image of His son.

Have a great day!

There is never a dull moment when you are called to win souls for the Messiah. Yes, there are many frustrations along the way but all these cannot be compared to the joy of seeing people come to know their maker or develop a much more intimate walk with the Lord.

We have been throwing the gospel seed in all areas where the wind is able to carry it. Sometimes we do hear some good news as the seed germinate and sometimes the seed is eaten up by birds .As we preach the word, God has graciously enabled us to cloth the naked and feed the hungry. We were able to cloth more orphans recently thanks to our partners who felt a call to send used clothes to Zambia.

We have been privileged lately to hear from different people, Jew and Gentile on how our ministry has impacted them and drawn them closer to their Maker. We in return are Thankful to God and to many of you our friends and supporters who have enabled us to take the word of Yeshua to the lost. Thank you for being a blessing.

 CONGREGATIONS

Our Chinkuli congregation has suffered another setback. They have been without a roof for close to three years now and recently the new tribal leader in whose village the congregation is located grabbed some of the congregational land and gave it away.

Please do pray for a hedge of protection around this congregation and especially on the congregational leader Fabian Tembo who is not in good health and has been feeling discouraged.

Court case.

We are still awaiting a new date for our court case. We have been given a new Judge but no date yet for the orphanage court case.

The matter at hand is that we were sued for our land even though we have all the valid title and building approvals. Kindly pray that God will prevail over man and that we will not lose our frontage.

Orphanage.

There has been a lot of progress at the new orphanage. We now have running water, the ceilling is almost done, the kitchen is being worked on, the sewer system is almost done.

Sponsor an Orphan project.

You can now sponsor an orphan for only $25 a month at the Jerome Fleischer orphanage school. Sponsoring an orphan will give you an opportunity to correspond with your sponsored orphan, to pray for him or her, help them try to recover their lost childhood and it will also give you the opportunity to encourage the child to do well in school.

Your sponsorship will allow us to give the children three meals a day as opposed to one meal a day, school supplies, medical care and housing when the orphanage building is completed. Step into the world of an orphan and be a life changer. All donations towards sponsoring an orphan should be given through Congregational Roeh Israel (see bottom of this newsletter). To sponsor an orphan contact our USA representative Debra Green at zmforphanage@gmail.com or call 303-219-4591

We also have opportunities for one time giving at the end of the newsletter.

Kindly pray for Alex & Fay for wisdom, good health (Fay has had severe migraines), protection and direction as they lead and oversee the congregations, mentor and raise new leaders, the radio outreach and the Jerome Fleischer orphanage.
