PERSECUTIONS.
Alex was threatened with a gun by a man who works for the Zambian intelligence. The threat, sms and phone calls were made over the ministry land that the man claims to be his. We do have all the legal title to the land and the matter is in court. Disrespecting the High court order to stop interfering with our land the man has dug foundations in front of our only entrance to the property.
The police near our property were reluctant to arrest him even though reports of the threats were made to them. The man has now been arrested by police officers from Lusaka central police.Kindly pray for a peaceful closure to all this.
OUTREACH.
We had an open door to witness to three orthodox Jewish families recently. Alex will be sharing the word in southern Zambia end of this month. There will also be a women's retreat headed by Fay end of the month.
A LETTER FROM THE SECOND PRESIDENT OF ZAMBIA.
A few months ago The Zambia Messianic Fellowship joined other Zambian ministries in honoring our former president Dr Chiluba for restoring diplomatic ties with the State of Israel and for declaring Zambia into a Christian nation. Here is a letter he gave to the Jerusalem House of prayer a partner of Zambia Messianic Fellowship.

Dear Brethren,
RE:Declaration Of Zambia as a Christian Nation
My wife Regina and i wish to convey to you our choice Christian greetings and God's love.
I gladly consented to the request by our two sisters from The Jerusalem house Of Prayer in Zambia the bearers of this note to introduce and give a brief account of the Declaration of Zambia as a Christian Nation.
I wish to confess that the declaration of Zambia as a Christian Nation was a manifestation of God's love for our nation. It was an act of God and I was only used as a willing vessel to fulfill His purposes and plans for the people He loves. We are blessed and highly favored.
I can trace God's love for us back to the Yom Kippur war between the Arab states and the holy land, Israel. During the Yom Kippur wars most if not all African states severed their diplomatic relations with Israel in solidarity with member states of the Arab league. Zambia which was then a humanist society and slowly drifting into a scientific state was one of those. We cut off all links with Israel.
I was not part of government but it so happened that at that time i was included in the government delegation to the UN General Assembly in 1973 and thus i become an eye witness when votes were cast and declarations made by African governments to sever diplomatic relations with Israel.
But God is merciful. He patiently waited for me and even prepared me in the fullness of His time to come and reverse the curse our country had incurred by cursing father Abraham. Genesis 12:3
As most Zambians will recall and confess, our country encountered untold misery and innumerable political and economic hardships as direct consequences of the breakup of diplomatic relations with the holy land. i was therefore, determined to be obedient to the Most High God when times for political campaigns for change came in 1991 to place the restoration of the all important Zambia-Israel relations as priority issue.
But i realized that this could only work if our country become a Christian nation and entered into a covenant with God declaring Jesus Christ the King and Lord over Zambia. We had to become Abraham's children by faith.
Thus on 29th December 1991 a month after becoming president i held a ceremony at State House and declared Zambia a Christian nation and entered into a covenant with the Living God.
The process was not easy because i encountered sustained intellectual arrogance and resistance in cabinet but i steadfastly refused to succumb to such ungodly pressure.
With the help of a few colleagues it become a reality and is part of the preamble of our Republican constitution.
Zambia is a Christian nation constitutionally and by declaration.
I then followed this by desecration of the David Universal Temple at State House which was used and dedicated to idol worship and false gods. i burnt all of them.
I also sent directives to all Zambian missions in Africa and abroad espeacially to those at the UN forbidding them to cast a vote against the holy land at any meeting. This policy remained in force until i left office in 2001.
During my term 1991-2001 i visited your great country twice and held meetings with former president Weizmann and Premier Benjamin Netanyahu.
May God always lift Israel above her enemies as promised to Abraham your father and our father too by faith for the bible says the just shall live by faith Habakkuk 2:4.Through Jesus Christ's shed blood at Calvery we are the children of our father Abraham and enjoy the same blessings. Galatians 3:6-9,3:13-14.
It is refreshing to know that you remember us in prayer and we too remember and intercede for Israel and pray for one unified Jerusalem the city of the great king.
For the Lord will not return to a divided Jerusalem but to unified city. We shall remain brothers forever.

- House of prayer- we have decided to build a building for prayer at the land housing the orphanage. There are no churches or houses of prayer in this growing neighborhood. A building would cost $75,000.
